INSiGHT CLA scans are a set of advanced, non-invasive tools that measure how your body processes and responds to stress. Using three painless technologies, neuroTHERMAL, neuroCORE and neuroPULSE, they give us objective readings of how your nervous system is functioning, summarised into a single CORESCORE so we can set a baseline and track progress over time. The scans are safe and radiation free, which makes them suitable for infants, children and expectant mothers.
What is an INSiGHT scan?

Our practice uses the state-of-the-art INSiGHT neuroTECH suite, a collection of advanced, non-invasive assessment tools designed to measure how your body processes and responds to stress.
Unlike traditional tests that only focus on structure or look for pain, INSiGHT scans map out your neurological function. This gives us an objective, clear blueprint of your spinal health and overall vitality, and it works hand in hand with our paediatric chiropractic care.
The three core technologies we use
- neuroTHERMAL (thermal scanning): this scan evaluates your autonomic nervous system by mapping skin temperature along your spine. Because the nerves controlling your organs also control your skin temperature, variations can pinpoint areas of inflammation, deep-seated stress, and nerve communication interference.
- neuroCORE (surface EMG): this test measures the electrical activity and muscle tension along your spine. It reveals exactly where your body is overworking, compensating, or wasting energy just to keep you upright.
- neuroPULSE (heart rate variability): by tracking the precise rhythm of your heartbeat, this scan evaluates your body's overall stress resilience. It shows whether your nervous system is stuck in a fight or flight stress state, or if it is successfully resting, repairing and recovering.
